    Description

    Barber Half Dollars from our New Orleans Mint for some reason circulated much more than their brothers from the Philadelphia Mint.  This pleasing 1897-O Barber Half Dollar has been graded and certified by PCGS as VF 20.  Yes, LIBERTY is full.  Yes, the original silver surfaces are a silver gray color.  No, there are no surface marks or surface scratches.  And, Yes, the rims are completely nick and ding free.  A nice coin for a collector for sure.
