Description

Tumbler or cup advertising Maud S. Flour which was a brand of flour produced by the Phoenix Milling Co. of Davenport, Iowa and the Rea-Page Milling Co. of Marshall, Missouri.  The cup dates to the 1920s.  4" tall, 3" diameter.  Marked Czechoslovakia on the bottom with the number 419 which was a pattern number.  Condition:  lots of chips at rim, ten at least, one crack to the left of Maud, about 1 3/4" long, small 1/4" crack on rim just above the D in Maud.  Nice blue deign with fence and windmill at the top.  The Rea-Page Milling Co. was a large employer in the Marshall area in the late 1800s and into the early 1900s.  Acquired in central Missouri so the was probably an advertising item from the Marshall operation.  Nice local historical advertising item.  Shipping weight less than 1 pound.
