Welcome!WHAT IS GREAT ABOUT IT:
This is a unique and exceptionally beautifully designed squash blossom necklace with very fine detailing reminiscent of the Deco era but probably made in the 1960s or so. There are groups of three graduated raindrops on each blossom and on the Naja which repeat the hand made beads in aesthetic, and the heavy wire work has graceful swirls, each with
chisel work
detailing. There is natural turquoise in each blossom and five in the Naja plus one larger hanging turquoise bead in the center of the Naja. The whole necklace is hand made with cast elements, and is stunning! The two strands of hand made beads are strung, one on foxtail and one was probably a replacement, of coated wire. This is a superb, large and heavy weight piece that is one of the most gorgeous collectible designs.
