This is a beautiful large sterling silver kachina bolo by Navajo Native American silversmith and artist, Jerry Roan.
It is an amazing collectible made by an extraordinary artist.  This is a piece of Native American history.
On the back is a "JR" which is the inscription on his art as well as a "sterling" stamp, indicating it is made with sterling silver.
This bolo features large diamond shaped pieces of dark turquoise (I mostly see circular/oval shapes on these, so this is more unique).
There is also small red coral for the eyes and accents.
The Bolo weighs ~160 grams or ~5.6 ounces.
It is ~182mm tall by ~135mm wide (~7 1/8" tall by ~5 3/8" wide)

More about the artist:
Navajo trilbal native Jerry Roan (1919-1977) had a productive life as a silversmith and jewelry maker.  He began actively working at silversmithing around 1968.  In 1969 he won a 1st place award at the Navajo Tribal Fair in Arizona.
Roan was included in the 2002 exhibit, "Jewels of the Southwest" at the Museum of Indian Arts and Culture in Santa Fe.  His work is also included in the collections of the Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian and the Yellowhorse Museum in Pardise Valley, Arizona.
