Vintage Small Bear Ponca Tribe Sterling Silver Turquoise Coral Conch Belt. There are nine sterling conches, one large and eight smaller ones. The large one measures approx. 4-1/2” x 2-1/2”. The smaller ones are approx. 2-3/4” x 2-1/2” . The large one weights approx. 47 grams, including the turquoise. The smaller ones are approx. 23 grams, including the turquoise. The conchos slide on the belt so they are easily removable. The belt from the end of the buckle to the tip is 36” and 1-5/8” wide. The leather is worn but in good condition, i.e., no cracks or tears. Each concho is signed the back. See photos, including pics of each individual concho. The sterling needs polishing.
